Node 3: Greenhouse Automation Platform
Founded and developed a greenhouse automation platform: custom WiFi sensors feed an always on dashboard where growers view and control live data, temperature, ventilation, watering, and fertilization.
Problem: Commercial greenhouse automation is built and priced for large operations. Smaller growers and researchers get left out.
My role: Founder. I lead engineering and business, from sensor hardware to IP, finance, and commercialization.
Outcome: A modular, low cost and accessible environmental monitoring and control platform with a live dashboard.
What I did
Node 3 started with my own garden. Founding a gardening club and managing and automating my own garden myself is what led me to build WallerWatch, and Node 3 is where I am taking it.
The platform uses a modular architecture that lets growers connect sensors and customize views and controls, making commercial level automation and data analysis accessible to growers and researchers.
