Mars Rover: GPS and Navigation Systems
Designed and programmed the rover GPS infrastructure and its ROS 2 bridge to an NVIDIA Jetson, and led the GPS sub team.

Problem: A competition rover needs to know where it is. That takes GPS hardware, a clean data path into the autonomy stack, and a team that understands the circuits.
My role: GPS Head and Outreach Lead. I designed the GPS infrastructure and its ROS 2 bridge to an NVIDIA Jetson, and led the GPS sub team.
Outcome: Working GPS infrastructure on the rover stack, plus a sub team taught circuit fundamentals ahead of their coursework.
What I did
I soldered, wired, and assembled rover hardware, and tested circuit designs in TinkerCad before building them.
On outreach, I pursued funding through a sponsorship package and coordinated rover delivery for competition.
